What you’ll learn

In this chapter · 2 topics

  1. 01Sign in to your profile
  2. 02Find your profile settings

Sign in to your profile

Existing account → sign in with a password → profile

1. Find the sign-in option

Look for Sign in in the application header. On a small screen, open Menu first. If you can already see My profile, you are signed in: go straight to the last step of this section.

2. Open the sign-in form

Select Sign in and check that the account sign-in form has opened. This example uses an existing account with a password; you do not need to create another account to explore your profile.

3. Enter your email address

Enter the email address registered with your account. Check it carefully: an extra space or a typo could prevent you from signing in.

4. Continue to the next step

Select Continue. For password sign-in, a password field will appear. If the form offers another verification method, follow its instructions instead of looking for a field that is not there.

5. Enter your password

Enter your account password. If you cannot remember it, use the recovery link in the sign-in form and follow the instructions sent to your email address. Do not share your password with the support team.

6. Confirm sign-in

Select Sign in and wait for a response. If an error appears, read it and check your details. Pressing the button alone does not mean you have signed in successfully.

7. Find the profile option

After signing in successfully, look at the navigation again. In the compact header, open Menu: you should now be able to open your profile where the sign-in option appeared before.

8. Check your account

Select My profile. Check the account information and access shown. If this is not your account, sign out and sign in with your own email address before changing any details.

Find your profile settings

Profile → account → return to reading

1. Find your profile

If you have returned to reading, open the application menu. In the wider header, use the profile link. You need to be signed in for the following steps.

2. Open your information

Select My profile. Find your account and access information. These details show which account you are using; you do not need to change them to follow these instructions.

3. Find the account settings

Select Account. Look for the security settings and the option to contact the team. You can explore this page without changing your password or sending personal information.

4. Return to the Bible

Select Back to Bible, then choose a book or continue reading. You now know how to find your settings whenever you need to make a change.
