A pericope is a meaningful reading unit — a span of text prepared for study, teaching, or liturgy — not only a chapter number.

What you’ll learn

How to open a pericope from a book’s table of contents so you land on the right span of text immediately.

Steps

  1. Open a book that lists chapters and pericopes.
  2. Choose a pericope title or range (not only a chapter number).
